Elena Radding '18 selected for Panetta Institute Internship

Elena Radding has been selected for the Panetta Institute's 2016 Congressional Internship Program. Elena is a political science and communication double major from the East Bay. Her involvement in politics began with her internship with President Obama's reelection campaign, and continued with internships with Congresswoman Barbara Lee and the Mayor of San Francisco. She has also been involved in student government both in high school and at SCU. Elena is excited to increase her knowledge of policy issues and experience the legislative process first hand through the Panetta Congressional Internship Program.

In August, Elena will spend two weeks training at the Panetta Institute and then head to Washington D.C. for 11 weeks, where she will work fulltime in a congressional office.
