Rick Heller received his B.A. from Carleton College, and a M.A.T.S. from San Francisco Theological Seminary (not to mention an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management). He is currently a PhD candidate at the Graduate Theological Union, focusing in Sociology of Religion. His research focuses on the intersection of religion and politics, US and global religious history, and the sociology of religion.
