On October 25, 2017, writer/artist Dan Goldman was on campus to discuss the strengths, methodology and storytelling mechanics of using comic-book storytelling as a form as activism, both on the page and in the real world. Using Priya’s Shakti as a primary case study, this workshop invited SCU writers and artists to bring in their own comics that address current social justice issues to present and discuss in a workshop environment. Any and all types of visual media encouraged: analog, digital, photographers, 3D, etc.
