BEACH Mentors
Ciocca Center's BEACH program is an opportunity for experienced professionals interested in consulting or advising, to mentor cross-disciplinary student teams and guide them with small businesses and startup clients through client discovery meetings, research, analysis to final presentations.
Mentors understand the importance of the entrepreneurial mindset, and the value of collaboration and teamwork to solve business and legal pain points. The expectation is to recommend practical and student driven next steps that lead to an ideal client solution.
Application Is Open for Fall 2023 Mentors in Business of Law
Interdisciplinary teams of 6 made up of 2 law students, 2 undergraduate and graduate students, 1 law mentor and 1 business mentor who meet in person and/or virtually to research, review and provide information and resources to clients that address their business and legal challenges.
Each team works with four clients per BEACH session. BEACH's 10 week sessions run in the Fall (October-November) and in the Spring (March-April).
