SCU Study Abroad

SCU Study Abroad is a part of the Global Engagement unit leading international diversity, intercultural learning and internationalization at Santa Clara. We offer quarter and semester-length study and intern abroad opportunities for undergraduate students.

We aspire to shape a world where people with varying identities and perspectives have the courage, skills, and ability to thrive.

Inspiring curiosity and instilling the joy of learning is how we build the world’s future leaders.

For students of all majors and career goals, studying abroad sets the stage for learning and building connections for their future. Roughly 25% of SCU students study abroad on a quarter, semester or summer program. Studying abroad can be an extremely rewarding academic, professional, and personal experience. It gives students a chance to immerse themselves in another culture, learn or enhance language skills, launch lifelong pursuits, and gain an invaluable edge in an increasingly competitive global job market and grad school admissions process, among many other benefits.

Please Note: Santa Clara University may be obliged to alter or eliminate programs described at any time. Dates, courses and costs may change without notification.
