Associate Provost for International Programs

As Associate Provost for International Programs, Susan Popko promotes global engagement and provides strategy, leadership and communication for international education at the University. She plans, develops, and coordinates international programs, partnerships and initiatives.  She represents the University in interactions with global and community partners.  Direct reports include International Students and Scholars and Study Abroad in the Global Engagement Office.  Susan is active in international and higher education nationally and internationally as a presenter and she serves on committees and advisory boards, including the Boards of Directors of the Forum on Education Abroad and the Fund for Education Abroad. Susan earned her master’s degree in music from the University of York and her bachelor’s degree in music and piano performance from St. Olaf College.
