TESE Tracker

This page allows community access to the current department teaching effectiveness standards for evaluation (TESE), and provides a portal to upload your department's versions of the TESE (below). Use the search bar to find your department quickly.

Department chairs will have an opportunity in early September 2026 to update the version of the working pilot TESE on this page. Only the working pilot and the final approved teaching standards will be posted to the tracker. Date of submission or approval appears in the column, linked to a document visible to the Santa Clara University community.

Click on the relevant link in the Upload Portal below to access the upload form for the appropriate step in the process.  You only need to upload at Step 6 if the version of your TESE posted in the tracker above is not the latest version your department has developed.
