Since Santa Clara University’s initial accreditation by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, the institution has submitted regular reports to seek reaffirmation of accreditation. Below are copies of recent reports and the WASC Commission responses.

SCU 2020 Institutional Report and WSCUC Evaluation Team Report

Following the comprehensive WASC review in 2020, Santa Clara University received a ten-year reaffirmation of accreditation. 2014 WASC Interim Report

Following the comprehensive WASC review in 2011, Santa Clara University received reaffirmation of accreditation to the year 2021. The University was also asked to submit an Interim Report to WASC in March 2014 focusing on four topics: refining and expanding assessment and program review; promoting inclusive excellence; integrating the Jesuit School of Theology into the life of SCU; and enhancing shared governance and communication. In July 2014, the Commission accepted the interim report and reaffirmed Santa Clara’s accreditation through 2021. 2011 WASC SCU Educational Effectiveness Review

2009-2010 WASC Capacity Report and Educational Effectiveness Report for the Jesuit School of Theology

2009 WASC Capacity Report

Santa Clara University hosted a Capacity Review site visit in October 2009. The Capacity and Preparatory Review Report was submitted to WASC in July 2009 and included supplementary materials that provided support for the Reflective Essays.
