Kimberly Mohne Hill
Kimberly Mohne Hill received her MFA at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. At Santa Clara University, Kimberly directs for the main stage where her past credits include: Arcadia, The Tempest, In the Heights, Footloose, Thoroughly Modern Millie, HayFever, and Songs for a New World. She teaches Acting, Voice and Speech, Dialects, Improvisation, and Musical Theater, along with leading Voice and Presentation Skills workshops for the faculty members of many departments in the University.
A professional actress, she became a member of Actor's Equity (the professional stage actor's union) serving as an understudy and a Voice Coach for Carroll O'Connor (All in the Family) in the World Premiere of his original work A Certain Labor Day. As an actress, she most recently played the roles of “Mrs. Cratchit" and "Mrs. Fezziwig" in San Jose Rep's acclaimed production of A Christmas Carol.
A busy professional director, her most recent directing credits include Asst. Directing A Thousand Splendid Suns (A.C.T. and Theatre Calgary), When the Rain Stops Falling (Dragon Theater), Venus in Fur (San Jose Stage), The Other Place (Dragon Theater), In the Next Room (or, the vibrator play) at City Lights, and reasons to be pretty and The Seafarer (San Jose Stage Company).
Kimberly is also known throughout the Bay Area and beyond as a Voice & Dialect Coach – having coached at such theaters as A.C.T., Berkeley Rep, TheatreWorks, San Jose Rep, San Jose Stage Company and Marin Theater Company…among others. Her corporate experience has included coaching clients with such companies as EFI, Cadence, and SF Fertility Centers.
She has published three books for young actors:
Scenes in Dialect for Young Actors, and
Monologues in Dialect for Young Actors, Volumes I & II.
