Custom header and subheader with SCU's core navigation
The Site Standard page layout is used primarily for academic department sites. The standard header can be customized to include the name and link for the department's school or college, and include the navigation menu used in the Site Main page layouts. In addition, a subheader would likely be used to present the department name and the "department switcher" menu in each page of the site.
To use this presentation, follow these steps.
- Switch the page layout to Site Standard
- Create a site-config section in the main branch
- Add the Site Config - Standard Header content type and set the title, subtitle and associated links
- Add the Site Config - Sub Header content type and set the department name
