PCAOB Scholars Program

After being nominated by the Accounting Department Scholarship Committee, Karlise was selected by the PCAOB Scholars Program to receive a $10,000 scholarship. Congratulations Karlise!

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) administers a scholarship program for undergraduate accounting students that are nominated by accredited U.S. colleges and universities. After being nominated by the Accounting Department Scholarship Committee, Karlise was selected by the PCAOB Scholars Program to receive a $10,000 scholarship. Congratulations Karlise!

Karlise Loza is an Accounting and Information Systems major with a Business Analytics minor who not only excels in her studies but is also engaged in many activities at the University. For example, Karlise is a SCUAA Junior Officer, a tutor for introductory accounting classes, and a member of the LEAD scholars program for first-generation students. She also assisted first year students with their transition into Santa Clara as an LSB and Accounting major peer advisor, served as a part of Associated Student Government in the role of Off-Campus Scholastic Chair for the Community Development Branch, and was a Student Ambassador for the Admissions Department.
