For the first time, the SCU Accounting Department invited student leaders of SCUAA to participate in the interview process for a tenure-track assistant professor.
More than 130 students attended the Accounting Department’s fourth annual fall Corporate Accounting Careers Panel Discussion on October 27, 2020 via Zoom.
This year the SCU Accounting Association (SCUAA) merged its annual Meet-the-Firms Night with the virtual Career Center Fall BASH held on Tuesday, September 30, 2020 from 12 PM to 4 PM. The event was open to all SCU students including undergraduates, graduates, and CAAP students.
In response to the increasing demand for accountants equipped with analytics skills, AICPA has incorporated data analysis and emerging technologies content into the CPA exam. To prepare our students for this fast-changing business environment and the changes in the CPA exam, our faculty has added a new Accounting Data Analysis and Visualization course and also revamped the existing AIS course.
