The Accounting Department at the Leavey School of Business created the new Accounting Leadership Series program for the 2022-2023 academic year to engage all business students. Hosted by Dean’s Executive Professor, Chris Paisley, the program is an exciting opportunity for students to meet executives in the industry who are SCU Accounting alums.
SCU Accounting Association officers, Melanie Cooper, Andrew Amerio, and Noah Chak recently had a sit-down interview with President Julie Sullivan. They asked President Sullivan questions about her previous experience, most memorable experience so far as the President, plans for the school, and advice for prospective students.
Despite a brief period of online instruction in Spring 2022 due to the spread of Omicron, the Broncos returned fully to campus and took classes in person during AY 2021-2022. It has been so exhilarating to welcome everyone back and resume our on-campus events and activities.
The Center for Accounting Research and Education (CARE) hosted the sixth annual Corporate Accounting Career Panel Discussion in person on November 2, 2022 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
The SCU Accounting Association (SCUAA) hosted the 41st annual Meet-the-Firms Night on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 4:40-7:00 PM, outside on the St. Ignatius Lawn.
