Regina Lawless Toney is a Lecturer in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business, which she joined in Winter 2026. She teaches Foundations of Leadership at the undergraduate level and Cultivating Inclusive Leadership in the graduate program, integrating organizational psychology, emotional intelligence, and evidence-based DEI frameworks to prepare values-driven leaders for today's workplaces.
Lawless Toney is a former global DEI and human resources executive who has held leadership roles at Instagram (Meta), Flex, Intel, and Micron, where she directed enterprise programs in leadership development, equity, culture, and organizational change. She is the founder of Bossy & Blissful, a leadership development consultancy that blends mindfulness, restorative practices, and inclusive leadership.
Her areas of professional and academic interest include inclusive leadership, organizational culture, psychological safety, resilience, and the integration of mindfulness and spirituality into leadership effectiveness. She is the author of Do You: A Journey of Success, Loss and Learning to Live a More MeaningFULL Life (Fast Company Press, 2024) and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Business Insider, USA Today, and Black Enterprise. She hosts the podcast The BlissFULL Life and speaks nationally on leadership, belonging, and well-being.
Lawless Toney holds an M.S. in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento. She is a Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) Certified Facilitator and a Brain-Based Coaching practitioner through the NeuroLeadership Institute. A U.S. Army Reserve veteran, she served on the University of San Francisco's School of Engineering Founding Advisory Council and the World Woman Foundation Board.
