Leavey School of Business Named No. 49 Undergraduate Business Program in the Nation

The newest rankings from U.S. News & World Report place Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business in the Top 10% of business schools in the nation and includes national recognition for six of the school's concentrations.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (September 17, 2021)

In a demonstration of continued excellence and growth, Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business has been named the No. 49 Undergraduate Business Program in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. 

Within the Undergraduate Business Program, several concentrations earned especially high marks, including: 

  •  No. 9 (tied) Entrepreneurship
  • No. 15 Accounting
  • No. 17 Management Information Systems
  • No. 23 (tied) Business Analytics
  • No. 39 (tied) Management
  • No. 42 (tied) Finance

"To see such a tremendous increase in our rankings continues to strengthen the Leavey School of Business’ national reputation as a competitive, top-tier institution,” said Dean Ed Grier. “I’m so grateful for our students, faculty, and staff who continued to excel this year amidst challenging circumstances.”

Outside of the business school, Santa Clara University was placed among the top 15% of national universities across the U.S. with a No. 55 ranking in the 2022 Best Colleges list. Other highlights for the university include: No. 37 in Best Undergraduate Teaching, No. 110 for Best Value Schools, No. 114 for Undergraduate Engineering Programs with Doctorate, and No. 135 Undergraduate Computer Science Programs.
