Santa Clara University's Online MBA Named No. 3 in the Nation
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (November 8, 2021)
In just its second year of eligibility, Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business has been named the No. 3 Best Online MBA Program of 2022 in the annual ranking from Poets&Quants. The jump of seven spots from last year’s No. 10 ranking comes just four years after the program’s launch. Based on alumni satisfaction, Santa Clara’s Leavey School took the No. 1 spot in both the Academic Experience and Career Outcomes categories.
The Online MBA rounds out the graduate business school’s top-ranked MBA curriculum including the No. 13 Executive MBA (U.S. News) and the No. 20 Evening MBA (U.S. News).

While admission data incorporates metrics such as test scores for enrolled students, undergraduate GPA, and work experience, the categories of academic experience and career outcomes are determined by an alumni survey of each school’s most recent graduating class. This survey measures the authentic voice of alumni and their overall satisfaction with the program and curriculum by gauging how likely alumni are to recommend the program to a colleague, friend, or family member, the quality of their professors, and ability to make connections with them and other students. Additionally, it assesses how many students received a promotion or boost to their pay as a direct result of the program, among other factors.

The Leavey School’s Online MBA program includes a signature Silicon Valley Professional Dashboard, through which students track, curate, and connect their coursework, co-curricular activities, and professional development.
