SANTA CLARA, Calif. (March 29, 2022)

In a demonstration of continued excellence and growth, Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business has again been recognized as a leader in graduate business education in the newest rankings from the U.S. News & World Report. Rising one spot from last year, SCU’s Evening MBA program ranked No. 19 in the nation, making this the fourth straight year of a top 25 placement for the program. Out of the 278 schools included on the 2023 list of Best Part-Time Programs, SCU placed in the top 7% nation-wide. The newest ranking now makes SCU’s evening MBA the No. 2 program in Bay Area, the No. 4 program in California, and the No. 2 program from a Jesuit university. This year’s class also boasted the highest-ever GMAT scores, with an average of 635.

The school’s Executive MBA program earned a No. 13 spot in this year’s rankings from U.S. News, making this the fourth consecutive year in the top 15. The program, designed specifically for seasoned executives with 10 or more years of managerial experience, is the No. 3 program in California and the No. 1 program from a Jesuit university.

Rounding out this year’s rankings, several of the part-time MBA program’s concentrations also received high marks. Earning a top 10 placement, SCU’s Business Analytics concentration was ranked No. 9 in the nation, while Finance came in at No. 21, Marketing ranked No. 22, and Entrepreneurship was named No. 27.

“We are thrilled that the Leavey School of Business has again been recognized as home to several of the top MBA offerings in the nation,” said Dean Ed Grier. “This Top 20 placement across both our Part-Time and Executive programs combined with an increase in peer assessment from other deans reflects the growing reputation of Santa Clara education, one we are extremely proud of.”
