Gallery Exhibition Schedule

All gallery exhibitions are held in the Department of Art and Art History's Gallery, located in the Edward M. Dowd Art and Art History Building. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. Gallery Hours are M-F, 9am-4pm, except during University closure dates and holidays.

In compliance with the ADA/504, please direct your accommodation request to Mitch Grieb at at least 72 hours prior to your visit.

COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY: Masks are recommended but not required for vaccinated attendees for indoor events. Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear masks for indoor events. These requirements will continually be monitored and updated as state, county, and SCU COVID-19 restrictions and guidance change.

Studio Art Senior Exhibition - Class of 2020

Exhibition Dates: September 10 to October 9th, 2021

Reception: Friday, October 8, 2021

The students from the class of 2020 who were unable to exhibit their senior capstone artwork will finally be able to see their work exhibited in the Art and Art History Department’s Gallery. The show will culminate in a reception during Grand Reunion Weekend.

Meet the artist: Thursday, November 4,

An artist and art instructor for 40 years, Jack Ogden’s work has influenced generations of Bay Area artists. Ogden is part of the internationally recognized Bay Area Figurative Movement. Ogden’s work will provide historical insight into, and context for, this historically significant moment in painting.
