Student Services and CTC Manager
Luz Zamora is the Lead Credential Analyst for the School of Education and Counseling Psychology. In this position she serves as chief liaison to the California Commission for Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) and tasked with tracking and communicating legislative changes in mandates and credential policies to the College of Education and Counseling Psychology. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that all applications for credentials comply with State Standards and California Code and for submitting recommendations for our credential students to the CCTC for the issuance of their teaching credential. She is also responsible for the preparation of standard reports to the CCTC.
Luz comes from San Jose State University wit almost ten years of experience as a Credential Analyst. She graduated from San Jose State in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Child and Adolescent Development. She continued her education and graduated in 2014 with a Masters Degree in School Counseling.
