The information submitted on the Petition for Graduate Degree Form is used to order your diploma and list your name in the commencement program. It is also used by the Office of Student Services to evaluate your transcripts and remaining course work. The Commencement Office will send you the information on the commencement exercises held ONLY in June. This petition for your MA degree must be filed with the Office of Student Services by the appropriate deadline.
If you do not graduate in the quarter indicated, you will be required to file a new petition.
The Office of Student Services is committed to the timely processing of all petitions to graduate. Your degree is posted by the Office of the Registrar. We make every attempt to complete the degree audits and send conferral notifications to the Office of the Registrar approximately two weeks after all grades for the School of Education and Counseling Psychology are posted.
The Fall 2024 Petition for Graduate Degree Form is due October 1st.
