Kathy Chou, currently Vice President for R&D Operations and Central Services at VMware, has more than twenty five years of operations and management experience in the high-tech industry. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy and Operations for Informatica, Vice President of Sales Operations and Strategy at Intuit and Vice President, Worldwide Commercial Volume Sales at Hewlett Packard.
She holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, a master of science degree in manufacturing systems engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Kathy is a member of the Santa Clara University Board of Regents. Her sons Grant ('17 Finance) and Kevin ('15 Mathematical Economics) are Santa Clara University alumni.
