Campus departments, centers, and offices offer a wide variety of jobs for students. Schedules may vary from day time to evening. Some jobs may offer weekend hours. Also, many jobs may be labor intensive while others may be less so.

It is important to note that many campus jobs are specifically for students who are Federal Work Study eligible. However, there are many jobs that are open to students who do not have Federal Work Study, so be sure to read the job descriptions carefully to see whether or not there is a Federal Work Study requirement.

Search for campus jobs.

Students may have Federal Work Study as part of their financial aid packages. To see if you are eligible for work study, log onto your Workday portal account and click on the "Financial Aid" link. If you are not currently eligible, you can learn about potential eligibility by contacting the Financial Aid Office.

Please note that being eligible for work study does not guarantee a job on campus. Students still need to apply and engage in the job search process.

Once students have secured campus jobs, they should be familiar with the commonly used payroll and other human resources (HR) forms. The hiring department will work with the Student Employment Office to make sure students complete the required documents.
