  • The Student Writing and Research Initiative

    The Student Writing and Research Initiative (SWiRL), is a collaborative effort between the Office of Assessment and the Faculty Collaborative for Teaching and Learning. The main purpose of this imitative is to strengthen student learning outcomes in the areas of writing, critical thinking, and information literacy. The SWiRL team is intentionally inter-disciplinary including Chris Bachen (Office of Assessment and the Communication), Nicole Branch (University Library), Laura Doyle (School of Engineering), Megan France (Office of Assessment), Diana Morlang (Political Science), Trish Serviss (English) and Julia Voss (English).
