On-Campus Alumni Event Requirements
In response to evolving changes brought about by COVID-19, we have put together a set of Santa Clara University alumni event policies. As we prepare to greet you, we share a few important reminders.
- Indoor Events: For the safety of all guests and staff, and in order to comply with Santa Clara County public health guidelines, indoor events will require masks for all attendees, both vaccinated and unvaccinated. Anyone refusing to comply with mask requirements is subject to removal from the event. Additionally all guests must be fully vaccinated or provide a negative test result.
- The following will serve as proof of vaccination status:
- Vaccine card or a photo of your vaccine card
- Digital COVID-19 vaccine record using the My Vaccine Record app.
- For proof of a negative COVID-19 test result in lieu of vaccination—acceptable test criteria is:
- Negative test result from a labratory based PCR test within 48 hours of the event
- Negative test result from a rapid antigen test within 24 hours of the event
- The following will serve as proof of vaccination status:
- Do not attend an event if you are sick or unwell.
- Finally, if you attend an event and test positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of attending, please report this to the University by emailing covid19@scu.edu. Students, staff, and faculty who receive a positive test result from an off-campus facility should complete this short form to notify the SCU COVID Support Team.
Off-Campus Alumni Event Requirements
- All Events: Alumni event safety protocols at off-campus locations will vary depending on the local county health guidelines. Please see the specific alumni event page for more details on the safety policies that will apply.
- Do not attend an event if you are sick or unwell.
- Finally, if you attend this event and test positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of attending, please report this to the SCU Alumni Office.
