The University and Alumni Association established a class audit program in 1975 for the benefit of interested alumni. The purpose of this service is to provide graduates the opportunity to audit (non-credit) undergraduate courses tuition free.

An offering of classes for Counseling Psychology alumni, including three that meet the current grandfathering requirements for LPCC joint licensure as well as classes for those seeking an Advanced Psychotherapy Theory Certificate. All classes provide continuing education hours for license renewal.
Over twenty-five percent of the students enrolled in the Diocese of San Jose schools come from underserved Latino communities. Through a direct partnership between the Diocese of San Jose (DSJ) and Santa Clara University (SCU), ExCEL was created.
