Associate Professor, Accounting
Haidan Li is an Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.
Her research and teaching interests are mainly in financial accounting, corporate governance, and capital markets. She has published articles in leading scholarly journals including Journal of Accounting and Economics, Contemporary Accounting Research,Review of Accounting Studies, and Journal of Law and Economics. She received the American Accounting Association Competitive Manuscript Award in 2003.
Dr. Li received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, her M.A. from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and her B.A. from Zhongshan University in China. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa before joining Santa Clara University. She has received several teaching awards at Santa Clara University, including the Professor of the Year Award presented by the SCU Accounting Association in 2012.
