2024 Accounting Information Night

The Accounting Department hosted the annual Accounting Information Night on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 7:00-8:30 pm in Locatelli Center.

The 24th Annual Accounting/A&IS Information Night, hosted by the Accounting Department, took place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 7:00-8:30 pm in Locatelli Center. Moderated by Ryan Chew, Lead Financial Analyst at Intuit, the event showcased six distinguished alumni:

Students expressed appreciation for the insights share by the panelists and found the event highly beneficial.  They particularly valued the diverse career paths represented and gained a deeper understanding of the multifaceted nature of the accounting profession, recognizing the importance of soft skills and critical thinking alongside technical expertise. In addition, panelist Ricardo Martinez shared the following book recommendations as good reads for all students: Mindset (Carol Dweck, 2007) and Grit (Angela Duckworth, 2016).
