2026 Winter Accounting/A&IS Career Fair
Santa Clara University’s Accounting Department and the SCU Accounting Association (SCUAA) were proud to co-host the annual Winter Accounting/A&IS Career Fair (WACF) on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in the Locatelli Center for Student Involvement. The event welcomed a strong turnout from both students and employers and provided valuable opportunities for connection, learning, and professional engagement.
This year’s WACF connected more than 95 undergraduate business students with 65 professionals representing 18 firms, many of whom were SCU alumni. Students explored internship and full-time opportunities across accounting and A&IS career paths, while firms connected with talented students interested in joining the profession. To support meaningful conversations, firms received a digital resume booklet in advance containing 94 student resumes, and students were provided with a firm flyer booklet to help them prepare for the event.

In advance of the fair, the SCUAA hosted a Pre-WACF Workshop on January 21, 2026, to help students prepare for the event. The workshop was designed for undergraduate business students interested in accounting and A&IS opportunities who had not yet accepted internships or full-time positions. The session provided an overview of what to expect at the career fair, addressed common questions and concerns, and offered practical guidance to help students approach employer conversations with confidence.
The workshop featured valuable contributions from SCUAA officers and Noel Kreidler, Assistant Director and Career Development Specialist (Business & Entrepreneurship) in the Career Center, who shared insights on résumé writing, career resources, and student support services. The Accounting Department and SCUAA also extend sincere thanks to industry professionals Bristin Parks (Senior Audit Manager, KPMG), Ray Nunez (Co-Founder and Partner, Finance Research Partners, LLC), and David Murdock (Tax Partner, Grant Thornton Advisors LLC) for generously volunteering their time to support students’ preparation. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, followed by one-on-one conversations between students, officers, and staff.
During the career fair, students were invited to complete a sticker card by engaging in conversations with participating firms. Completed cards were entered into a raffle drawing. Congratulations to Valeria Santiago ’28 (A&IS), winner of a $25 DoorDash e-card, and Emerson Sakai ’29, winner of a $25 Amazon gift card.
Finally, we extend our sincere appreciation to the SCUAA officers for their leadership and dedication in making this event a success: Cassidy Furutani (President), Ashlyn Wang (Vice President), Morris Su (Firm Relations), Fiona Holdaway (Treasurer), Greg Mackintosh (Student Relations), and junior officers Autumn Bella, Esme Valencia, Lily Eisenstein, Conan Xie, and Richard Tseng.
