Beyond the Classroom
- Department Sponsorship
The department sponsors some students to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration for women in computing, MathFest, MAA Sectional Meetings, and the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics Education. In addition, we pay salary to several students to do research with faculty each summer. This support comes from generous gifts - mostly from alumni of our department.
