Below are requirement checklists for Psychology students. Please locate the appropriate checklist for you based upon the term you entered SCU (either Fall 2010 through Spring 2016 or Fall 2016 and Later). You can view the checklists online by clicking the links to download them as a PDF to keep for your files.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For first-year students entering Fall 2017 and later, the Psychobiology emphasis is no longer being offered. We encourage new Psychology majors interested in this emphasis to investigate SCU’s Neuroscience major. The Neuroscience program includes the additional science and math courses that were required of the former Psychobiology emphasis.
Completing a Requirements Checklist
Track your progress through your program by using the requirement checklists above, specifically designed to guide you through your degree. Once you fill in your major requirement checklist with the information found on your eCampus Unofficial Transcript and Degree Audit, you will have a one-page overview of your university core and major requirements.
Use a Course Planning Worksheet, along with your Requirements Checklist, to prepare for your meeting with a peer or faculty advisor. Reference our course planning instructions to help prepare your plan.
If you have questions about which courses fulfill requirements, you can refer to the Undergraduate Bulletin and Core Curriculum documents, or the individual course list found in each academic department.
