My name is Kelby Uebelhor. I am a senior majoring in religious studies, philosophy, and business management. My time majoring in religious studies has truly allowed me to explore my interests in religion and philosophy. Every professor I have interacted with in the department has focused on empowering me and how my interests align with the classroom topics. It is rare to see this type of teaching even in other humanities classes. The department has helped me cultivate rigorous critical thinking skills and mold myself into the type of person I desired to become. With the support of the department, I have been able to put myself in a position to pursue further studies at the graduate level in existential philosophy and psychoanalytic theories.
