The Santa Clara University Sociological Association (SCUSA) is a registered student organization, led by the students of the Sociology department. The club's mission is to "strive to educate the Santa Clara Community about social inequalities, empower social change, and promote civic engagement through Jesuit Ideals and Sociological Theory". We meet twice a month to discuss social issues and events that students feel passionate about in an attempt to bring awareness and social justice to a variety of topics. Our club also works together with the Sociology Department to promote sociology through campus activities.  Any student can join our organization.  For more information about our club, please contact Emma Hmelar, at ehmelar@scu.edu.
