Overview
The School of Engineering and HYP Global (Shanghai Yangze Education Technology Co., LTD) have launched a strategic partnership program for international students who wish to pursue a master’s degree at Santa Clara University.
Bootcamp courses that we would recommend for our programs:
- ENG 03 Circuit Design
- ENG 04 Data Structures and Algorithm
- MATH 01 Engineering Mathematics
If a student has a good background with their BS degree in these areas, alternate course options are
- ENG 02 Modeling Concepts
- ENG 05 C Programming
- BUS 01 Business Analysis Python
- ENG 01 Technical Communications
Applicants should also have a background in electrical engineering circuits. If an applicant does not have this background, they can take these classes from Santa Clara on-line as an Open University student. Potential students should contact our admissions team to learn how they can do this:
- ECEN 50 Electric Circuits I
- ECEN 100 Electric Circuits II
- ENG 03 Circuit Design
- ENG 04 Data Structures and Algorithms
- ENG 05 C Programming
Only applicants in Computer Science and Engineering should have a background or class in embedded systems and assembly. If an applicant does not have this background, they can take this class from Santa Clara Online as an Open University student. Potential students should contact our admissions team to learn how they can do this. This does not apply to the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence.
- CSEN 920 Embedded Systems and Assembly Language
If a student has a good background with their BS degree in these areas, alternate course options are
- MATH 01 Engineering Mathematics
- ENG 01 Technical Communications
- ENG 01 Technical Communications
- MATH 01 Engineering Mathematics
- ENG 05 C Programming
Applicants in Mechanical Engineering, BioEngineering, Robotics, Engineering Management Aerospace, Applied Mathematics, and Civil Engineering are also welcome. For these programs we would recommend (but not required):
- ENG 01 Technical Communications
- MATH 01 Engineering Mathematics
- ENG 02 Modeling Concepts
In all cases, applicants will be considered by the standard admission process for our programs.
