Dear SCU School of Engineering Alumni, Students, Faculty, and Staff,
It’s National Engineers Week, a time to illuminate our exciting and fulfilling profession, and a time to celebrate Santa Clara Engineering. For 68 years, National Engineers Week has inspired future generations to learn about careers in engineering and technology as it honors the many contributions engineers make to society.
This week, we celebrate Bronco engineers with a full line-up of social and informational activities. Our 3rd Annual School of Engineering Research Showcase on Friday, February 22, will feature research being conducted by undergraduates, graduate students, Ph.D. candidates and faculty of the School of Engineering. From targeted drug delivery to engineering smart buildings, Bronco engineers are advancing research in a wide range of topics. Be sure to mark your calendar for this event and check the events calendar (below) often during the week.
The theme for eWeek this year is “Engineers: Invent Amazing.” I am proud to be part of this community of Broncos that never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for the excellence you bring to your work, and happy eWeek!
