Dear SCU School of Engineering Alumni, Students, Faculty, and Staff,
It’s National Engineers Week, a time to shine a light on our exciting and fulfilling profession, and a time to celebrate Santa Clara Engineering. For 67 years, National Engineers Week has inspired future generations to learn about careers in engineering and technology as it honors the many contributions engineers make to society.
This week, we celebrate Bronco engineers with a full line-up of social and informational activities. Our 2nd Annual School of Engineering Research Showcase on Friday, February 23, will feature research being conducted by undergraduates, graduate students, Ph.D. candidates and faculty of the School of Engineering. From advancing 5G wireless technology to delivering cancer treatments to human cells, our vibrant community of engineering scholars is at the cutting-edge of research in a vast array of topics.
The theme for eWeek this year is “Engineers: Inspiring Wonder.” May the curiosity you bring to your studies, the engagement you bring to your field, and the impact you bring to your community and the world through engineering be inspiring to others.
