Shade Structure (ENGR 110, Spring 2018)

The students designed a durable, cost effective, safe, and aesthetically pleasing shade structure for Kids on Campus educational day care facility. To ensure structural stability, the group performed weight calculations and seismic calculations. The estimated design dimensions are 17 feet 1.5 inches long, 8 feet 10.5 inches wide, and 6 feet 8.5 inches tall.
