1.  Sections Relating Exclusively to Tenure-Stream Faculty

Eligibility to vote on matters affecting procedures or criteria for tenure or promotion to Associate Professor or Professor (3.11, App. A Sup. IV.B.3), or affecting procedures or criteria for hiring tenure-stream faculty (3.2.2.1), are restricted to those Faculty Senate members who are tenured or eligible for tenure.

* This section has its own rule excluding non-tenure-track faculty from evaluating and ranking candidates and making recommendations for the hire, unless they serve on the original search committee. If the question of non-tenure-track faculty participation is at issue in a revision of this section, all members of the Faculty Senate will be eligible to vote on the amendment.
