Meet the Research Team
Associate Provost for Research
Eric provides oversight to the programs and services the Office of Research provides. He is responsible for the allocation of resources, the development and execution of research initiatives, and the overall support of our scholars.
Sr. Director of Sponsored Projects
Mary-Ellen provides vision and oversight to the Sponsored Projects Office to support the research mission of the University by providing the full range of services to faculty and staff through the life cycle of grants.
Program Manager, Office of Research
Katia manages the various programs and functions within the Office of Research, including competitive grant programs, Sabbaticals, and SPUR. She assists faculty with research awards, including setting up budgets in Workday and other information.
Director of Research Compliance and Integrity
Esther is responsible for establishing a research compliance infrastructure which supports the research enterprise at Santa Clara University.
Director of External Partnerships
Chris coordinates a new university initiative focused on the development of external partnerships. This work includes initiating and maturing relationships with external partners as well as developing streamlined polices and processes relating to external engagements.
