I am grateful for the opportunity to learn with and support a new faculty cohort. Our monthly meetings have created a space for everyone's development in the work of teaching, scholarship, and service, allowing us to dialogue about successes, problems of practice, and ideas for new approaches to our work. I believe discussion-based, faculty-led, and regular professional development like new faculty cohort meetings offer us the most meaningful opportunities to grow as teacher-scholars.
