Associate Professor, Anthropology
As a cultural anthropologist, Mythri's research interests include gender, human rights, humanitarianism, and labor. As a faculty associate, she is interested in the relationships between how instructors deliver the content in the classroom, accessibility, universal design, and student empowerment. She finds that focusing on the contexts or environments in which instructors teach is a useful angle to approaching student learning. As a faculty mentor, she is also interested in contributing shared forms of knowledge about connecting with students in the classroom and supporting new faculty to identify and build research and teaching support networks to thrive at SCU.
