“The ultimate measure of our university is the lives our alumni lead”
This award publicly recognizes a single SCU alumnus/a for their service to Santa Clara University, their community, and/or their profession, and whose undergraduate degree was conferred between 2016-2025.
Award Criteria
- Nominees must be an alumnus/a whose undergraduate degree was conferred between 2016 and 2025
- The nominee's service to Santa Clara University, their community, and/or their profession will serve as key determinants for the Selection Committee.
- Rotating Members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and members of the Selection Committee are not eligible.
- The Outstanding Young Alumni Award is not granted posthumously.
- Any exception to the "General Criteria" must be unanimously approved by the Outstanding Young Alumni Award Selection Committee and the University President.

- Alumnus/a Trustee - Staggered three year term, appointed by the BOD Ex-Officio, AVP, Alumni Relations
- Alumnus/a Regent - Staggered three year term, appointed by the BOD Ex-Officio, AVP, Alumni Relations
- Alumnus/a Fellow - Staggered three year term, appointed by the BOD Ex-Officio, AVP, Alumni Relations
