CFIE Connect Navigating the Food and Beverage Industry: 2022

Giving a glimpse into the food industry this episode of CFIE's CFIE Connects brought in a panel of scu graduates and a cfie advisory board member to provide their experience. Representing careers from recent graduates and young professionals to an established entrepreneur they discuss their challenges, successes, and lessons learned as they navigated their careers in the food and beverage industry.

  • Conscientious Indulgence: 2021

    CFIE, as part of Grand Reunion Weekend, hosted a reception featuring food and beverage companies making ambitious commitments to achieve rigorous sustainability goals working towards carbon neutrality. We’ve assembled a delicious offering of beverages and snacks from our alumni and industry innovators whose products support this movement.

  • The Ants & the Grasshopper Screening: 2022

    In January 2022, CFIE held a screening of the documentary The Ants & the Grasshopper directed by Raj Patel and Zak Piper. After the screening attendees were able to have a Q&A with Raj Patel.

  • KitchenTown and TCHO Chocolate field trip: 2022

    On Feb. 10, CFIE held a field trip at KitchenTown and TCHO Chocolate. There students got to get a first-hand look at how TCHO made their chocolate as well as what new innovations KitchenTown were working on.
