Rebecca Chae is an assistant professor in the marketing department at the Leavey School of Business. Her research interests are in consumer behavior, with a focus on: a) how time perception and the timing of interventions influence individual and societal wellbeing, and b) how emerging technologies influence consumer behavior. Her work has been published in journals like the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) and Psychology and Aging. She has received numerous research and teaching awards, such as the Best Talk Award at the Society for Consumer Psychology and the ACR/Sheth Foundation Dissertation Award.
