The Princeton Review Names Santa Clara University the No. 11 Online MBA in the Nation

The Leavey School of Business earns a top 15 position in the annual rankings, the latest in a series of recognitions for the Online MBA program.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (February 3, 2023)

The latest in a series of national recognitions for Leavey’s Online MBA Program, Santa Clara University’s Online MBA has been recognized as one of the top in the nation, earning the No. 11 spot on the annual list of Top 50 programs from The Princeton Review.

The Princeton Review uses a combination of institutional data and student input on career outcomes, technological infrastructure, academic rigor, and affordability, among others to determine these rankings. For the full methodology visit here.

The list, which is the company's 8th annual ranking of online MBA programs, and a part of The Princeton Review's Best Business Schools for 2023 project, relies on a combination of institutional data as well as student surveys regarding the learning experience, student support, and career outcomes.

Among the feedback collected, LSB students noted the value of the “well-structured and thoughtfully designed” in-person orientation weekend that helps students get to know one another, that not only provides “the foundation of building the relationships needed to succeed on group assignments” but also feels “similar to how the business world works today.”

Other highlights of the program that stood out to students were the “extremely intuitive and user-friendly” technology and infrastructure at the core of the online program, faculty who are “knowledgeable in the subjects they are teaching and incredibly responsive to questions and suggestions,” and access to on-campus resources such as the strong alumni connections, international study abroad courses, and career fairs or networking events.

This newest ranking comes on the heels of a No. 9 ranking from Poets&Quants and a No. 37 ranking from the U.S. News and World Report.
