Brady leads a new product introduction and manufacturing engineering team at Intuitive Surgical in Sunnyvale, CA, where he is responsible for instruments used with the da Vinci surgical robot for use in minimally invasive surgery. His primary focus is on product development, continuous improvement, and ensuring Intuitive’ s products achieve the highest level of quality and value to the patient. Prior to Intuitive, Brady worked at a small startup in Boulder, CO as a mechanical engineer developing ultra-high temperature MEMS sensors for use in gas turbines and molten salt power plants.
Brady is a SCU alumnus and holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering. He has been involved with the university since graduation, serving as an adjunct lecturer, guest presenter, and juror for student design competitions.
