Ursula is a Senior Manager for New Product Introduction Engineering at Intuitive Surgical. Over her tenure at Intuitive that began in 2014, Ursula has held key roles in various departments, including Accessories, Instruments, Stapling, Endoscopes and currently is on the Endoluminal NPI team. Her innovative spirit and strategic mindset have played a pivotal role in the successful launch of nearly a dozen Intuitive products, showcasing her proficiency in driving product development and market introduction.
Before her time at Intuitive, Ursula honed her skills as a design engineer at Hayes Manufacturing. This experience equipped her with extensive knowledge of precision machining processes for medical device components, laying the foundation for her future success in the industry. Throughout her career, Ursula has consistently demonstrated a passion for advancing manufacturing technology in the Med Tech sector.
Ursula holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Engineering Management, both earned at Santa Clara University.
