Yan Cui

Lecturer

Yan Cui is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Santa Clara University. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2019.

Her areas of expertise include the design, analysis, and modeling of architectures, protocols, and algorithms for ultra-high-speed networks. Her current research focuses on machine learning algorithms and their applications in networking.

She began her teaching at San José State University in 2019, where she taught Computer Architecture and Operating Systems. Since joining Santa Clara University, she has also taught Data Structures, Embedded Systems, and Machine Learning. She greatly enjoys teaching and finds her interactions with students to be both meaningful and rewarding.
