Prashanth Asuri with the Bioengineering Department and Chan Thai with the Communication Department have received a $99,996 award from NIIMBL to support their project "NIIMBL eXperience @ SCU".
SCU BioCAD program will collaborate with Bay Area Biotech industry partners and life science associations to deliver a comprehensive, broad-access learning platform that supports scaled use by the emerging workforce (e.g., community college and university students and early-career professionals), as well as community college and high school CTE instructors to build interest in and training for careers in biomanufacturing.
