Where do I check in for reunion activities?
Reunion headquarters is located in the garden area next to the Bannan Alumni House. Make sure to visit when you arrive on campus to pick up your name tag and find event schedules, campus maps, fun takeaways, and knowledgeable staff to get you where you need to go. Check-in will be open the following days and times:

Thursday, Oct. 6, 2 - 4 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 7, 9 - 4 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 8, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m

Will there be virtual event options?
Yes! For those unable to make it in person, there are a variety of offerings where you can connect to others (both those attending in-person and from afar), and participate in live streaming events. Visit our virtual experience page to learn more.

What precautions will you take regarding COVID-19?
Please do not come to campus if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Face masks while indoors are strongly encouraged but not required. Please visit Prepared SCU for more information.

Do I need a ticket to enter an event?
For most events showing your name tag at check in will grant you admission. The few exceptions are the Block Party, Saturday Night Class Parties (Classes of 1977-2022) and Young Alumni Oktoberfest which do require a wristband. For the Picnicpalooza, you need a ticket to receive food and drink. If you check-in at an event that you did not register for, you have the option of purchasing admission at that time (unless it is marked as SOLD OUT or FULL).

Weather and what to wear:
Most events are casual although many people wear cocktail or business attire to their class dinner. This year the majority of events will be outside or in open tents, so please plan on warmer clothing in the evening.

Where can I park?
On-campus parking is limited. If you are driving to SCU, please allow yourself ample time and park in the Main Parking Structure or, if that is full, the North Campus Parking Garage. Ride shares and carpools are highly encouraged. In addition, shuttle buses will run between campus and our host hotels (Marriott San Jose and Signia by Hilton San Jose) on Friday and Saturday. Check the schedule for specific times.

How do I access Wifi on campus?
Follow SCU Technology's instructions on connecting to the "SCU-Guest" network.

How can I find a friend or classmate?
When you arrive at check-in, registration lists for each class will be available for you to see if your friends or classmates have checked-in, and if they will be joining you at any of the events for the weekend. All nametags will have your class year clearly displayed so you can identify others in your class. The Class of 1972, celebrating their 50th reunion, will have a gold band at the bottom of their nametag.

Is Grand Reunion family-friendly?
Yes, there will be some fun events for families like Fun at the Forge, Picnicpalooza, and de Saisset Community Day. Children are welcome at other events, but there are not specific activities planned for them.

Are there any childcare options at Grand Reunion?
We are unable to provide childcare ourselves, but below is a list of local childcare providers that may be useful. (Please note, these childcare services are not affiliated with Santa Clara University.)

You could also post a request for childcare on Switchboard (like Craigslist exclusively for Broncos).

Can I request special meals because of dietary restrictions?
Yes; please let us know about any dietary restrictions by emailing grandreunion@scu.edu. We will send all requests to the catering department. Please check in with event staff prior to your meal(s) to ensure that your request(s) are accommodated.

What if my plans change and I need to cancel my RSVP?
We sincerely hope that does not happen, but if it does, please email us at grandreunion@scu.edu by Friday, September 30 so we can process your cancellation. Refunds will not be given after Friday, September 30 due to catering commitments.
