Gabriela Dobrescu teaches undergraduate courses in international economics. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and her B.A. in Economics from Grinnell College. Her areas of interest are international trade, development economics, and political economy.
Before joining Santa Clara University, Gabi worked as a consultant at Cornerstone Research where she conducted economic and marketing research and prepared expert testimony in consumer class actions. Prior to that, Gabi worked an economist and researcher at the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
