Donald Davis

Donald began his career at International Paper Company in New York, where he was Assistant Treasurer-Corporate Finance. He then came to San Francisco, where he was a Vice President at Bank of America and a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities. At BofA he held a variety of corporate finance advisory and investment banking positions, with a focus on debt financing and asset securitization.

After leaving BofA, he served as an independent financial consultant, including long term assignments at PG&E during its bankruptcy financing and at VISA during its reorganization and IPO.

Donald holds an MBA from Columbia University, and is a CFA charterholder. He has published on the topics of bank capital structure and on the financing of leveraged buy-outs by ESOPS, and is an instructor in the CFA exam review program presented by the CFA Society of San Francisco. He joined Santa Clara in 2009.
