Biography
Younghyun Cho is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Santa Clara University (SCU). Prior to joining SCU, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar at University of California, Berkeley, for three years. He received his Ph.D. from Seoul National University in 2020 and his bachelor's degree from University of Seoul in 2013.
His research focuses on computer systems and tools for high-performance computing. He has been working on compiler/runtime-level performance optimizations for parallel applications and performance tools to help improve performance of parallel codes.
